iwanrj.com – Jakarta – Flagship smartphones The newest Samsung to come, the Galaxy S24 will use a battery with electric vehicle technology that makes it even more durable.
A few months after the launch of the Galaxy S23 series, various leaks from the Galaxy S24 lineup that will be present next year have started to appear on the internet. Previously, this latest Samsung cellphone was said to be returning to using its own chipset, namely the Exynos 2400.
The latest report regarding the Galaxy S24 from The Elec states that smartphones this will introduce a new battery technology, the same as used in electric vehicles.

Additionally, the report claims Samsung’s SDI division is in charge of research and development for batteries that want to use the technology stack battery to smartphones.
This technology does not change the chemical content of the battery, but adjusts the battery cells resulting in a higher energy density. This allows for a higher battery capacity of the same size as a regular battery.
This technology is used in the Audi Q8 e-tron which includes a battery with a capacity of 114kWh in it, besides that the Chinese manufacturer CATL has stack battery with a larger capacity, namely 140kWh.
Even though mobile batteries will be used in a different scope when compared to electric vehicle power packs, the report also claims the battery will get a 10% increase, but this doesn’t mean the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be packed with a 5,500mAh battery.

Samsung is likely using an upgraded battery pack to fit the same capacity inside a smaller cell, to free up space for other components or make smartphones be more concise.
