iwanrj.com – Jakarta – The Strava application announced that currently Spotify has been integrated into the application to make it easier for users to listen to songs directly.
For those who don’t know, Strava is a fitness and exercise application that is commonly used to track the quality of physical exercise, and has social networking features that are similar to social media.
Now Strava users don’t have to bother switching between apps while exercising, because Spotify is available directly. In addition, users can link playlists, songs to favorite podcasts from Spotify, based on the GSMArena report.
Ian Geller Spotify’s Vice President of Business Development explained that the integration of this music player application into Strava is a form of support so that every user can easily listen to songs anywhere.
For those who want to listen to songs directly on the Strava application, an option will appear in the record tab, and playlists and song recommendations will be provided directly from Spotify.
Even though it is integrated and can be used by all users, there are several Spotify functions that are divided between premium and free users. Premium users can stream their favorite songs and curated playlists.
Even so, premium users will miss their favorite feature, which is listening to songs that have been downloaded offline, because Strava requires an internet connection to keep songs alive.
On the other hand, free Spotify users will still be able to listen to songs, only songs that are normally provided by the application, along with advertisements when switching songs.
