iwanrj.com – Jakarta – President of the United States (US), Joe Biden meets the leaders of Google, Microsoft and OpenAI as the maker of ChatGPT to the White House, to discuss the dangers of sophistication Artificial Intelligence or AIs.
The meeting was held for 2 hours on Thursday (04/05/2023), and was attended by officials from Google, Microsoft and OpenAI. They are Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei.

On the other hand, US Vice President Kamala Harris assessed that AI technology has the potential to improve human life. However, it can also raise security, privacy, and civil rights issues.
Kamala advised technology company bosses that they have a legal responsibility to ensure the safety of their artificial intelligence products.
Then the AI Government is also open to discussions in making new regulations and supporting new laws regarding artificial intelligence.
After the meeting was over, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman told reporters that the United States Government could move fast in formulating AI regulations.
“It’s good to try to overcome this. It’s definitely going to be a challenge, but it’s one I’m sure we can handle,” said Sam Altman when asked whether the US was moving fast enough on AI regulation.
