So, Telkomsel customers can exchange their 25 Telkomsel Points through the MyTelkomsel Application, then exchange them for donations which are then collected into one free homecoming ticket for informal sector workers who need it by using bus and ship modes of transportation.

Telkomsel is also collaborating with BenihBaik as a crowdfunding platform from Indonesia and a platform for receiving and distributing donations sent by Telkomsel’s loyal customers to people in need.

There are seven destinations for going home with departures using the bus transportation mode, namely Lampung, Palembang, Padang, Pekanbaru, Tasikmalaya, Semarang, and Surabaya. As for the mode of sea transportation, there are three destination cities, namely departure from Sampit to Semarang, Tarakan to Pare-Pare, and Makassar to Surabaya.

A total of 1,400 travelers departed, where the beneficiaries are members of the informal sector workers who work as online motorcycle taxi drivers, cleaning workers, and Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

All bus travelers will depart simultaneously from Jakarta to the city of their homecoming destination on April 19 2023, while travelers via ship will depart according to the Pelni Ship schedule.

Telkomsel hopes that the Telkomsel Points Homecoming Hepi Program can provide the experience of returning home safely and comfortably and celebrating Eid al-Fitr at home.
