Additionally, Google says this update will bring a new feature called App Hibernation, which helps apps to automatically force apps to hibernate.
This hibernation feature will be active immediately when the application is not used for a period of 30 days. Update applies to Android S devices and later models.
When this Google app is put into hibernation mode, it will optimize the storage space of the system.
Additionally, the announcement mentions that the Android App Bundle will be used to reduce app file size by 25 percent. This is done to save app sets compared to installing apps individually.
Thanks to this update, Google is working to shorten the time it takes to activate Google TV, in addition to increasing the response time between the TV and the keystrokes on the remote.
Not only that, but the company has also shortened the time it takes to load animations when restarting.
