iwanrj.com – Jakarta – Ahead of its launch in a few days, the new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores shows the main character Aloy’s battle with the game’s biggest boss.

Sony and Guerilla Games uploaded the trailer on Guerilla’s YouTube channel last Friday. Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will be a DLC that tells the latest chapter of Aloy’s saga.

The Horizon Forbidden Burning Shores trailer gives a new look at the Burning Shores region, the volcanic archipelago formerly the site of Los Angeles, reports Engadget.

The most interesting thing about the latest trailer for this action-rpg game is that it shows Aloy’s battle with Metal Devil, who is the biggest boss in this game franchise.

This antagonist character was previously mentioned by Sony and Guerilla in the trailer for this DLC announcement last year. However, it is only shown briefly without any fight scenes.

On the other hand, maybe some PS4 gamers are disappointed because Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will not be available on PlayStation 4. The reason for this game’s unavailability is Aloy’s battle with the Metal Devil, which looks more detailed and realistic.

Mathijs de Jonge explained on the PlayStation blog last month that the crumbling cityscape of Los Angeles and its surroundings is highly detailed and requires a lot of power and fast streaming technology.

“The ruined landscape of LA and its surroundings are incredibly detailed and require a lot of processing power and fast streaming technology to make the game run smoothly,” said Mathijs.

Apart from that, he also added that there will be certain fight scenes that require a lot of memory and advanced processing power. As you know, the PlayStation 4 has passed its heyday due to the arrival of the PS5 with more advanced technology.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will be released on April 19, 2023 exclusively on the PlayStation 5 console. However, this game is DLC, which means an additional chapter of Horizon: Forbidden West. [FY/HBS]
