iwanrj.com – Jakarta – It turns out that AI technology can be developed for military needs. A technology company from the United States, Palantir develops AI technology that is capable of working in the military field, such as fighting enemies and maintaining security.
quoted Telset from Engadget On Thursday (27/04/2023), the company released a video demo of its latest offering, Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP).
AI technology capable of integrating large language models or Large Language Model (LLM) such as GPT-4 OpenAI or Bard Google into privately operated networks.
It’s just different from ChatGPT and Bard, AIP can be used for military purposes and carrying out war tactics.

As in the demo video above, a military operator tasked with monitoring the Eastern European theater finds enemy troops massing near the border.
Operators responded by enlisting the AIP to assist deploying reconnaissance drones, initiating a tactical response to perceived aggression and even managing jamming of enemy communications.
Furthermore, AI technology for this war will estimate the composition and capabilities of the enemy by launching Reaper drones on reconnaissance missions in response to the operator’s request.
It was further explained that the AIP operating system is based on 3 main pillars. First AIP will implement a secrecy system, which can parse confidential and non-confidential data on an ongoing basis real-timeethically and legally.
The second pillar is that users will be able to change the scope and actions of every LLM and asset on the network. The AIP itself will generate a secure digital record of all operations.
“It is important to mitigate significant legal, regulatory and ethical risks in sensitive and confidential settings,” Palantir wrote in the video. Meanwhile, the third pillar is the leading industrial guardrail.
