iwanrj.com – Jakarta – Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) re-launched its annual sustainable program, SheHacks 2023 with 3 new programs that aim to reduce the digital divide for Indonesian women.
President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, said that women are the main perpetrators of MSMEs in Indonesia. It is very important to support them through the advantages of inclusive digital technology, because it is projected that 64% of MSMEs will go digital in 2027.
“Equal digital access for women needs to be pursued collaboratively for a bigger impact. Indosat is committed to continuing to be the main collaborator in empowering the people of Indonesia and becoming the main driver of the nation’s digital economic growth,” said Vikram.
Through an official statement received on Monday (17/04/2023), this year’s Indosat SheHacks 2023 is different from previous years because it presents 3 new programs, namely SheHacks Innovate, SheHacks Impact, and She(Hacks) Improve.

SheHacks Innovate is a two-day offline workshop to help budding entrepreneurs solve problems and develop customer-focused innovations. Indosat is working with the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) for the program.
As for SheHacks Impact, it is a 6-month program for startup founders who launch products in a category Minimum Variable Product stages (MVP) to be improved.
Meanwhile, the She(Hacks) Improve program provides access to participants to be able to use a variety of learning videos that cover the knowledge they need to know in order to develop the business they are running.
There is also a SheHacks People’s Choice with various criteria chosen based on the 10 best proposals taken from She(Hacks) Improve, and the 6 best ideas from SheHacks Innovate.
Selected participants will present their ideas on the SheHacks website with a 5-minute presentation which will then be chosen by the audience. Later, the 3 best participants will receive appreciation and win prizes.
SheHacks 2023 is also supported by the Indosat Digital Ecosystem (IDE), a trusted platform from Indosat Business that will help entrepreneurs and business people.

Indonesian women can participate in SheHacks 2023 individually or in groups, with a maximum of 3 people. Proposals can be submitted during the period 14 April 2023 to 9 June 2023.
