iwanrj.com – Jakarta – WhatsApp introduced a new feature for Android tablet users called “side-by-side” mode. This feature allows users to switch between conversations without losing track of the conversation in progress,

As well as being able to switch between conversations without losing track of the conversations, this feature gives more control over the WhatsApp interface on Android tablets.

This new mode splits the screen, allowing users to view multiple conversations at the same time, which is especially useful for those who often chat with several people at once.


But just so you know, this mode can result in a smaller area for each conversation. Fortunately, users have the option to disable side-by-side viewing via WhatsApp settings if they prefer a larger interface.

To be able to get it, display options side-by-side this can be disabled by going to WhatsApp settings > then select Conversation > Side-by-side view.

This update has already rolled out to some beta users and will be available to more users in the coming days, bringing the experience to a head chat which is smoother for Android tablet users.

Apart from this new feature, WhatsApp has also introduced a multi-device login feature which allows users to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices.

Additionally, WhatsApp will roll out a new feature that will allow users to add descriptions to forwarded messages. This feature will allow users to provide context and additional information about messages they forward to their contacts.

There are also rumors that WhatsApp is working on animated emoji support for its platform, which will allow users to send animated emojis to their contacts in conversations.


Apart from that, WhatsApp is reportedly developing a new feature that will allow Android users to transfer their conversations without using Google Drive.

This feature will allow users to transfer conversations from one Android device to another without having to use Google Drive, making the process more convenient and accessible. [HBS]
