Now, Microsoft has expanded support for the Phone Link application by allowing iOS users to be able to connect their phones to computers with the Windows 11 operating system, reports Gizmochina.
The Phone Link application previously only supported Android devices since 2015, where Android users could sync phones, messages, and contacts to their PC.
Although, the syncing feature was initially tested in late February and has now been released to a wider range of platforms, it still has limitations. For example, the app doesn’t allow transfer of pictures and videos from PC and unsupported group messaging.
Despite these limitations, the app offers integration options that make it easier for Windows users to connect their iPhone, as some users may not be familiar with alternative apps like Unison and AirDroid.
