ChatGPT Application Available on iPhone, Android Following

iwanrj.com – Jakarta – OpenAI has launched the ChatGPT application for iOS, especially iPhone. ChatGPT is the first AI chatbot to come as an application on a smartphone.

It’s just that there are several additional features such as voice input which is supported by OpenAI Whisper technology so that users can ask questions on a smartphone without having to type them.

Then there’s the feature of switching between the standard language model and GPT-4 for ChatGPT Plus subscribers, as well as conversation history syncing from the desktop if you’re signed in with the same account.

As well as the ability to export data and delete or rename conversations. Not to forget, ChatGPT is supported by the GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 APIs as in the web version.

Meanwhile for Android users, OpenAI promises that this application will soon launch on Android smartphones. However, it is not yet known when ChatGPT will debut on Android.

The emergence of the ChatGPT application on smartphones makes it easier for users to access this chatbot, as well as making ChatGPT one step ahead of other AI chatbots, especially Google Bard which was only introduced to the public a few days ago.

The reason is that so far AI chatbots are only available in the website version, so both PC and smartphone users have to use a web browser application to access them.
