Earlier this month, Asus was reported to be preparing a ROG Ally. Although, initially this information was suspected by some as material for an April Fool’s joke, now the gaming console will be released soon.

In addition, information from the official Asus Indonesia website states that this handheld console will be available in Indonesia, and initial pre-order registration is available on the official website from April 8 to June 30, 2023.

Currently there is no information on the specifications of the ROG Ally, but based on previous leaks it is said that the device will have a 7-inch screen with 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

For the kitchen spur, the device will use a CPU with a special AMD Zen4 and RDNA3 GPU. The CPU and GPU configurations are predicted to have the same performance as the Ryzen 7040U.

According to information from Linus Tech Tips, the special silicon on the ROG Ally will provide twice as fast performance as Valve’s Steam Deck with 35W of power and produce frame rate 50% better in 15W power mode.
