This announcement was posted by Elon Musk via his Twitter account on Friday (12/05/2023). In his tweet, the US billionaire said that Linda would become the new CEO of Twitter, and would focus on developing business and technology on Twitter.

“I am so excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter! @LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I will focus on new product & technology design. Looking forward to working with Linda to turn this platform into X, the everything app,” Elon wrote.

In another tweet, Musk said that Linda would hold a question and answer session for netizens via Twitter Spaces.

Profile of Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino

Linda Yaccarino, is a female profile who has had a long career in the broadcasting and advertising industry before finally becoming the CEO of Twitter. Quoted from her LinkedIn account on Saturday (05/13/2023), Linda graduated from the United States of America Pennsylvania State University majoring in Telecommunications.

The woman started her career at a broadcasting company called Turner from 1992 to 2011 with her last position as Executive Vice President Advertising Sales, Marketing and Acquisitions.
