Google Pixel 7a Officially Released, HP Compact with G2 Tensor Chip

iwanrj.com – Jakarta – Google officially launched the Pixel 7a to the market, even though it has a compact size but the chipset specifications are the same as the standard Google Pixel 7 variant, with the Tensor G2.

As you know, the Google Pixel A series has been the choice for consumers for many years smartphones Pixels with low prices but still qualified specifications.

Google released the Pixel 7a at the Google I/O 2023 event and at the time of its announcement it was given quite impressive information considering its relatively affordable price.

Google Pixel 7a specifications

The new smartphone shares essentially the same design language as the standard Pixel 7, with a full bar camera module wrapped in an aluminum cover with a matte finish. The screen uses a flat model and the bezel is quite thick on all sides.

This cellphone uses an OLED type screen panel with a size of 6.1 inches with a resolution of Full HD + 1080 x 2400 pixels and has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz to improve the scrolling experience for users. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has an Always-On Display feature.

For performance matters, under the hood uses the Tensor G2 chipset made by Google itself with 5nm process technology. This processor has 8 cores with speed clock up to 2.85Ghz and GPU Mali-G710 MP7. This chip is also paired with an 8GB RAM configuration and UFS 3.1 storage with a capacity of 128GB.

In the photography sector, the device uses a dual camera setup with a 64MP main camera with OIS support and a 13MP ultrawide camera. This camera will support Super Res Zoom (up to 8x) and Real Tone features for skin tones. The front camera uses a 13MP selfie camera.

For videography, the Google Pixel 7a rear camera can support video recording up to 4K 60FPS resolution, while the front camera supports video recording up to 4K 30FPS.

The phone is packed with a 4386mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging and 18W wireless charging. The device also has IP67 certification which makes it dust and water resistant at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

For port completeness, this cellphone supports USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, although in the purchase package only a USB C to C cable is available with support only up to USB 2.0 without a charger head.
