This application was initially introduced in the United States and India. Over time, Google also decided to launch a TikTok competitor application globally, including in Indonesia.

YouTube Shorts itself allows users to create short videos with a duration of 15 to 60 seconds. Similar to TikTok, users can add music, writing, adjust the video speed, and so on.

• The first thing you have to do, update your YouTube application on Android or iPhone.
• YouTube Shorts itself is still in beta for most global users, including Indonesia.
• Press icon + at the bottom to create a video. Several options appear, press Create a Short.
• Choose the video duration, 15 seconds or 60 seconds. You can also select a camera by pressing Flipset the video speed via buttons Speeduntil set timer.

• Not to forget, you can also insert music into the video via the buttons Add Sounds.

• There is a wide selection of populer videos here. You can also search for keywords from the music you want.
• Then, press the red button to record.

• The next menu, you can change the background music by pressing the button sound. You can also include text, set a timeline and so on. If so, press Next.

• Then, write a title and set whether the video will be shown publicly or only for private consumption. You can also adjust the viewing schedule to choose who can watch your short videos.

• Lastly, press Uploads to upload your short YouTube Shorts video.
