iwanrj.com – Jakarta – Lazada and DANA introduced cash on delivery (COD), using the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code or QRIS in the DANA application.
Lazada Indonesia Executive Director Ferry Kusnowo assesses that this digital payment will provide convenience for customers who choose a payment method on the spot, using the DANA application when goods are delivered to customers.
This payment option is offered specifically for customers who are delivered using the Lazada Logistics delivery service.
“Digital payments with QRIS from DANA can now be used in transactions at Lazada, especially for customers who use an on-site payment system. When the goods are delivered, customers can choose to pay at a non-cash point by scanning the QRIS through the DANA application,” said Ferry.
Currently, digital payments using QRIS from DANA can be made in 80 cities in Indonesia. Customers can make QRIS digital payments from DANA in cities that have been served by Lazada Logistics.
The courier will provide this payment option when delivering the goods to the customer. Simply scan QRIS with the DANA application and the goods can be received immediately.
“This collaboration with DANA is the first step to provide a complete choice of convenient on-site payment transactions or COD for Lazada and DANA ecosystem customers, as well as providing convenience and practicality for customers in making transactions,” continued Ferry.
Meanwhile, CEO & Co-Founder of DANA Indonesia Vince Iswara revealed that this collaboration was in line with DANA’s goal of increasing digital financial inclusion through expanding access to digital payment services for the community.
“Through this partnership, we hope that all people can enjoy payment services and financial services by DANA, especially when transacting on the Lazada platform,” said Vince.
Based on an official statement received on Wednesday (03/05/2023), users of DANA’s financial services have reached more than 135 million users in Indonesia.
The DANA open ecosystem is committed to continuing to reach more partners to make transactions easier for users, in this case specifically to be able to encourage an increase in the number of QRIS digital payment transactions. [NM/HBS]
