Let’s start with the camera on which this phone is focused. This cellphone uses 4 cameras on the back, made by Leica with the name Leica Vario-Summicron 1:1.8-3.0/12-120 ASPH lens.

The main camera has a 1-inch IMX989 sensor, 50 MP sensor, 23 mm lens that can be optically stabilized with a two-step aperture, which allows an aperture of f/1.9 for bokeh effect and f/4.0 for sharper images.

While the other 3 cameras each use the new 50 MP IMX858 sensor, which measures 1/2.51 inch. The size of the lens consists of a 75mm f/1.8 OIS 3.2x mid-range zoom, a 5x 120mm camera with a new, brighter f/3.0 lens, and a 12mm f/1.8 ultrawide autofocus with 5cm macro focus capability.

This Xiaomi 5G HP rear camera trio is supported by in-sensor-zoom technology, 13 Ultra and 2x 46 mm and 10x 240 mm mode options. The 32 MP f/2.0 front camera has fixed focus and will combine 4-to-1 pixels for the final 8 MP shot.

Xiaomi and Leica also bring a number of impressive features to this cellphone. Firstly, there are the camera’s two color science modes namely Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic. Then there is a new 50 MP UltraRAW mode for the main camera, which provides 14-bit DNG files.

It also has built-in multi-frame sharpening, noise reduction, and dynamic range adjustment for added customization. There is also a feature made specifically for street photographers, called the fast shooting mode or Fast Shot.

This feature allows you to take the focusing time from taking a shot by setting a predefined focusing distance. Fast Shot it will then take a photo in just 0.8 seconds.

The HP 13 Ultra will be available in Black, Olive Green and White colors in China starting April 21, 2023. The price is 5,999 Yuan or IDR 12.9 million for the 12GB/256GB RAM variant and 6,499 Yuan or IDR 14 million for 16/512GB RAM.
