Xiaomi Announces Redmi A2, Here Are the Complete Specifications

iwanrj.com – Jakarta – Xiaomi officially launched its newest cellphone, namely the Redmi A2 which has increased specifications compared to its predecessor series, the Redmi A1.

This latest Xiaomi cellphone is targeted at users feature phone who want to switch to smartphones. Redmi A2 gets a significant increase in specifications.

The increase given is seen in several sectors, like chipsets which is used up to a wider memory configuration than its predecessor which was released last year.

In addition, for the camera sector, it still uses a dual camera setup with an 8MP main camera. Not to forget, this best camera Xiaomi cellphone also has a portrait mode and HDR features are available.

Interestingly, even though the price is relatively affordable, Xiaomi provides a hardware warranty for 15 months, which means 1 year and 3 months. In addition, Xiaomi provides a security software update guarantee for 2 years for Redmi A2 users.

Redmi A2 specifications

Xiaomi Redmi A2 uses IPS LCD type screen panel specifications with HD + size 720 x 1600 pixels and has brightness support of up to 400nits.

In terms of performance, this Xiaomi gaming cellphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset with an 8-core configuration that has a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. The processor is coupled with 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB and 64GB of internal storage.

In the photography sector, Redmi A2 uses a dual rear camera configuration with an 8MP resolution main camera accompanied by a 0.8MP AI camera. Portrait mode and HDR features are also available, as well as Full HD 1080p 30FPS video recording to enhance the shooting experience.

On the front, there is a 5MP resolution selfie camera that supports video recording at the same resolution as the rear camera, namely Full HD 1080p 30FPS.

This Redmi A2 includes a cellphone with a 5000 mAh battery that has 10W charging. In the purchase package, a 10W charger is available. For the operating system, this device uses Android 13 Go Edition.
