iwanrj.com – Jakarta – A man in India had an accident with his smartphone. Why not, his Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro caught fire when it was kept in his pocket.
A man named Naveen Dahiya is known to have purchased the Redmi Note 12 Pro in February 2023. The cellphone was in his pocket on April 11, 2023, when it suddenly emitted smoke.
Naveen then felt a hot sensation and found his Xiaomi cellphone on fire. Luckily the man had taken the device out of his pocket, so he was not seriously injured. Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s newest cellphone was completely destroyed by fire.
It is not clear what triggered the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro to catch fire considering that the smartphone was not being charged at the time. After the case, Naveen then contacted Redmi customer service but got a satisfactory response.
However Naveen insists that if he does not get a satisfactory response from Redmi, he will take legal action against the company.
