iwanrj.com – Jakarta – Communicating via Microsoft Teams is now even more exciting, because users can use the lens features based on Augmented Reality (AR) from SnapChat or SnapChat Lenses, while chatting.
The SnapChat Lenses feature in Teams comes thanks to a collaboration between Microsoft and Snap. Through this collaboration, users can make calls with colleagues or friends, while using one of the 26 populer lenses from SnapChat.
Users can transform themselves into cartoon characters, add virtual snow, and add various backgrounds to your webcam feed. However, it’s best to make sure users don’t accidentally leave Lens on during more serious, formal conversations.
Microsoft leverages Snap’s Camera Kit, or software development kit, to deliver the technology Augmented Reality (AR), to this video conferencing application. Apart from that, they will also update the SnapChat Lenses collection so that users don’t get bored.

It’s also easy to use SnapChat’s AR lenses. Just go to the Video Effects option in Teams and select SnapChat. quoted Telset from Engadget on Tuesday (11/04/2023), the AR-based SnapChat Lense feature will slowly roll out to everyone starting today.

Previously they had added the AR Snap feature to an online learning platform called Flip. This feature is intentionally installed to make it easier for educators when teaching remotely to students.
